Our combined expertise in consulting, finance and deal making in the mining industry, enables us to bring to the sector solutions to navigate through and prosper in turbulent times.
Our name - KingWood Resources Capital - comes from the merging of the surnames of our founders, Emily King and Philip Hopwood. Our collaborative spirit unites different perspectives that strengthens our decision-making, network, and ability to execute on the ground.
Like the Kingwood tree, a natural resource of old valued for its strength and longevity, we take a long-term approach to our investments. We believe that all of our investments should plan to leave the environment and the communities they operate in, better than they found them. This means everything from improving the environment of the mining site to building out additional industries for community members once the mine is no longer in operation. And we believe that greater transparency among all of the players in mining deals will ultimately lead to better outcomes for investors and communities.
